1. Who this policy covers

Bering Credit Systems is the Bering Studios account service at beringcreditsystems.com. It helps store customers view credit, request cash deposits, transfer available credit, and obtain transaction records. In this policy, “we” refers to the operator of this service and its authorized store staff. Contact us at knoongwook@gmail.com for privacy questions or to identify the store operator responsible for your account.

This policy covers the credit website and information supplied to staff for administering its accounts. It does not automatically cover future Bering Studios games, apps, or unrelated services. If another service uses account information in a new way, its notice must explain that use before it begins.

2. Information we process

We process information from you, authorized store staff, Google sign-in, and the technical systems that operate the service. Depending on how you use it, this includes:

  • Identity and access: your name, email address, Google account identifier, authentication identifiers, basic profile details supplied during sign-in (which may include a profile image), and account-linking requests and decisions.
  • Credit records: account numbers, balances, cash-deposit requests and references, approval or rejection notes, purchases, transfers, adjustments, reversals, transaction numbers, dates, and receipts and statements.
  • Account administration: account status, freeze reasons, transfer limits, ownership links, staff notes, administrator actions, and timestamps used for audit and security purposes.
  • Communications: support messages, information you supply during an investigation, and in-app notifications and their read status.
  • Technical information: authentication and session data; hosting, security, and authentication providers may also process IP addresses, browser or device information, request timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
  • Browser preferences: selected account and section, statement preferences, and whether balances are visually hidden.

Do not put passwords, verification codes, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or unrelated sensitive information in references, notes, or ordinary support emails. The current website does not provide a card-payment form or request precise location, microphone, or camera access.

3. Google sign-in and Google user data

Google sign-in identifies you to the service; it does not prove that cash was paid or authorize access to someone else’s credit. Staff approval may still be required to link your login to an account.

The current sign-in integration uses basic identity, email, and profile information to authenticate you, link your account, display account identity, and secure access. It does not need access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendars. We do not receive your Google password. Authentication tokens and identity details are processed by our authentication provider and the browser to maintain your session.

Google user data is used for the account features described here, not to build advertising profiles, sell information, determine lending eligibility, or train generalized AI models. Any new Google permissions would require a separate explanation and authorization. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.

You can review or remove the connection in your Google account’s third-party connections. Removing it does not itself erase store transaction records or settle your balance, and may not immediately end an existing website session. Sign out and contact us if you need access revoked or your account closed.

4. Why we use information

We use account information to identify account holders; verify access requests and cash payments; maintain accurate credit records; process authorized purchases and transfers; provide receipts, statements, notifications, and support; investigate errors, suspected fraud, and misuse; restrict unauthorized access; troubleshoot failures; and meet applicable recordkeeping and legal obligations.

We do not use the credit website to make credit-score or loan decisions. Administrative decisions may involve staff review. Contact us if you believe a linking decision, restriction, or account record is incorrect.

5. Who can receive information

Authorized staff can access the account and transaction information needed to operate the service, review requests, and resolve problems. Staff-only notes are not displayed in the customer portal; that does not eliminate any access rights provided by applicable law.

Other people involved in a transfer may see identifying transaction details, including an account name, account-number information, amount, reference, and transaction number. Recipient confirmation can disclose a recipient’s name and masked account number to a signed-in person entering an account number. Do not include private information in a transfer reference that you do not want the recipient or staff to read.

Our current technical providers include Google for sign-in, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Cloudflare for website delivery and network protection. These providers process data needed for their services. Their own notices also explain their independent activities: Google, Supabase, and Cloudflare.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with lawful requests, protect people and accounts, investigate misconduct, or obtain professional assistance under appropriate confidentiality protections. If the service or store changes ownership, relevant records may be transferred with safeguards and any notices or consent required by law. These circumstances do not authorize unrelated use of Google data contrary to Google’s policies.

6. Advertising, sale, and tracking

The current website contains no advertising network, advertising pixels, or cross-site advertising features. We do not sell customer personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site does not currently use account information for marketing mailing lists.

Essential sign-in, security, and service-provider processing still occurs. If optional analytics, advertising, or marketing features are introduced, we will update the notice and obtain consent or provide choices where required before the new processing begins.

7. Cookies, local storage, and your device

The browser stores session credentials and settings needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Session storage remembers navigation choices; local storage may retain authentication data and preferences across visits. Google and infrastructure providers may use their own cookies or equivalent technologies on their services.

Clearing browser data or blocking storage may sign you out or prevent the website from working. Signing out of this website does not necessarily sign you out of Google or other devices. Use your own device where possible and sign out after using a shared device. The “Hide” balance feature conceals values on screen; it does not encrypt your device, erase information, or restrict another signed-in user.

Downloaded CSV files, saved statements, printed receipts, screenshots, and emails become separate copies under the control of whoever saves or receives them. Protect those copies and dispose of them securely when no longer needed.

8. How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose of each record, rather than one universal deletion date. Account and authentication information is needed while access remains active. Credit ledgers and supporting records may need to remain after account closure to reconcile balances, investigate transactions, prevent fraud, and satisfy applicable accounting, tax, or legal obligations. Support correspondence and technical logs are retained as needed for their operational or security purposes and subject to provider settings.

A deletion request is reviewed against those needs. Information that no longer has a legitimate retention purpose should be deleted or de-identified; restricted records may be kept while an applicable obligation or dispute remains. Existing backups and provider logs may age out on their own retention cycles rather than disappearing immediately. We do not promise that every record can be erased instantly or that a displayed transaction history will be available forever. Contact us for information about retention for your account.

9. Security and incident handling

The service uses HTTPS, authenticated access, and account and staff permissions to help protect information. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that systems will never fail or that information can never be accessed without authorization. Do not share your Google credentials or sign-in codes. Enable protection on your Google account and report suspected misuse promptly.

If we learn of a security incident, we will assess it, take appropriate containment and recovery steps, and provide notices required by applicable law. Report a suspected incident to knoongwook@gmail.com without sending credentials or unredacted sensitive documents.

10. Access, correction, deletion, and complaints

Contact knoongwook@gmail.com to request access to your information, correction of an error, account closure, deletion, or a copy of available records. State the request and the email associated with the account. Signed-in customers can also view available transaction history and export supported statements or activity records.

We may need proportionate identity verification before releasing information or changing access. If you cannot sign in, contact the store so staff can discuss another verification method; do not send a password. An authorized representative may need evidence of authority. Requests involving another person’s records may require redaction or additional review.

Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, appeal, or a complaint to a regulator. We will explain any applicable limitation or refusal and available next steps. We will not penalize you for exercising rights protected by law. We respond within applicable legal deadlines; this policy does not invent a shorter universal deadline. Deleting login information does not itself cancel a valid balance or erase records we must retain.

11. Children and family-managed accounts

The online service is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information or independently use the online portal. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information should contact us so we can review access and remove information where appropriate, subject to lawful recordkeeping requirements.

For other minors, the store must confirm whether account use is permitted and whether a parent or guardian must manage it. A parent’s involvement does not authorize sharing their login credentials. We do not claim that this website has a verified parental-consent system.

12. Processing locations and external links

Hosting and authentication providers may process information in locations outside your state or country. This policy does not promise storage exclusively in Alaska or the United States. Where law requires protections for international transfers, those protections must be applied.

Links to Google, provider sites, and other external services take you to services governed by their own terms and notices. This policy describes Bering Credit Systems; it does not control those independent services.

13. Updates and contact

We will identify revisions with an updated date and policy version. Material changes to how information is used or shared will receive appropriate notice and any consent required by law. Posting new wording alone does not authorize a use that requires separate consent.
